I love inuyasha, and naruto, and fruit basket, and Hellsing. Oh what the heck. I'm hooked onto anime. Gone are the days I used to laugh at how crazy my friends are over the japanese culture, scold my friends for getting into a ridiculous frenzy just because they walked past comic connection and saw their fav character figurine, and gone are the days I'd complain about japanese - the language. It's lovely. lovely it is. Something that has gotten me smitten. I have no idea why. japanese, despite their invasion and cruel acts in the past, portray now what i see as beauty, and ingenuity. I think at the rate I'm going, I'd get crazy over the Japanese culture soon. If u are one of those who think i look like a japanese or korean as well, i might well just convince myself that i'm of japanese heritage. It's nuts, but mysteriously attractive and seductive. hmmm. It's the in thing now. but i dont think people are following for the sake of following? i think right now people are really watching anime for the sake of their passion, because ingenious authors like Naruto's or Inuyasha's or Fruit Basket's really know how to think and write out their plot!! that's what i call ingenuity. One who is able to simply use cartoons, not even real life, to bring out a story, bring characters to life, just thru the story. It's amazing. |
